ChairDNA is a digital design tool, intended for the concept phase of chair design. The tool enables the generation of a wide range of multipurpose chair types, through the addition/deletion of the chair parts and the manipulation of their parameters, while ensuring the necessary restrictions attributable to anthropometric standards.

ChairDNA is the result of a PhD research project, hosted at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon.
